    SSDI is a monthly benefit that is given to persons that have been deemed disabled and unable to work before reaching retirement age.     SSI (Supplemental Security Income)

    A person can receive not only SSDI, but also SSI concurrently. Depending on whether a person is single or married determines the eligibility of benefits that a person can receive. Benefits can differ from person to person based on income limits. You can view these on the Social Security Administration’s (SSA) website.
